Emotional roller coaster

Really good. Well written. Really liked the characters. Talk about an impossible situation. The plot twist in this one was one I was not expecting. Some books you can see what’s coming. This was not one of them.

So Good, Sweet, Emotional

Enjoyed this sweet, emotional story and it's ups and downs of getting to the HEA. There is an organic romance, not an immediate "I love this chic" story here. It's refreshing to watch it bloom.
It's not your standard back and forth POV though, so the majority of the first half is all the FMC, which takes some getting used to, especially if you're wanting to hear Christian Fox, iykyk. But we do get quite a few chapters of Jake's perspective towards the middle to end.
Fairly steamy. 🔥🔥🔥

Love the storyline

Jake’s loyalty and dedication to the ones he loves makes him such a strong person

Extraordinary Devotion

I loved Jake’s heart, pure & simple. I thought Nina did some stupid things that put Jake through unnecessary hell, but geez, what a twist in his life story.

While I loved the story, Desiree Ketchum’s voice was not the best for this character; Christian Fox was smooth as always in his emotional delivery.

And I do not get the love affair with tattoos & body & facial piercings - without those, Jake could still be his bad boy, heart of gold, self - & the man of my dreams.

Narrators are awesome! The story is stupid

I love both narrators so no complaints there. However the story!!! The idiot and repetitive mistakes to drive a fake wedge in between the couple its really not needed. I expect writers to think creatively but this one has not. I doubt I finish the other books in the series.
