I have listened to a few of Sara Field's books, and if you know her books- you know there is typically a lot of sexy time, and most of those times are very dominating and rough. Sometimes I have just fast forward past those scenes. If you have heard one- you get the point. I could see how some scenes could even be triggering to some. However, her storylines have substance that you don't want to miss. There's magical creatures galore, battle scenes, and mystical elements a long with the actual romance part between the main characters that are a bit Beauty and the Beast-ish. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to the next one.

Repetitive scenes way too similar to others in series. Same words over and over again. Honestly the female narrator killed it for me.

story was different than most that I listen to on here. AND they never used the word incredulous....which i despise.... recommend . has a twist also.

This book is about 90% spicy open door scenes that deliver powerful climaxes, sizzling smacks, and powerful possessive vibes. There were some lines that were so over the top it actually got a giggle out of me, which I love!!

The plot is almost non-existent, but still interesting enough. Not sure if I'll venture into the rest of the series quite yet, but definitely an entertaining and low-stress listen.

Performances are as good as to be expected. I have yet to hear a female narrator that has a somewhat believable and non-comical male voice.
