In the second part of the trilogie we learn more aboud Maud, her husband and sister-in-law. After visiting several countries in Europe together, they are to stay in Italy for a while. Cecile is staying at a Castello, where the Count and his half sister welcome her. But are they really as good and friendly as they seem?
Meanwhile Maud has her own adventures, but not all seem to go as planned. Will Maud survive one of her adventures going horribly wrong?

Great story, very well written!! The narrator did a wonderful job, including sound effects and music. I am looking forward to the last part in this trilogy.

In this story, we continue Maude and Ren's story and add Cecilia's as well. There are villains, suspense, intrigue, friendship, and spice.

Once again, Garrett did a terrific job narrating. Good story!

The tale continues with twists and turns. Strong heroines and lovely description keep you enthralled until the end. Sensuous and dark with bonds of friendship and love mixed in. Gareth J Davies is perfect as the narrator.

Book two adds new characters and continues with the characters from book one. I still don't like the book one characters much. I just don't get their behavior, or story. The new characters definitely bring more story with them. But so many questions! I'm hopeful for book three to actually have a HEA that I'm accustomed to receiving.

Gareth J Davies once again transports me into a world that is unfamiliar to me, but makes me feel like I'm there. Great job.
