This book was WICKEDLY delicious! I freaking LOVED Jason. Holy moly this book is awesome.
I hate that he has such a toxic relationship with his mother.

I love the he doesn’t think he knows how to love but he does he really does and the one person he finally loves well , that just happens to be his wife.

FANFREAKINGTASTIC narration I love with Christian Fox narrates these books!

I just couldn't get into this story. Both characters had characteristics that were hard to believe.

I think this is my least favorite in this series

Least domly & most annoying "dom" male lead on record. Most dimwitted too. Same for the female lead. Hate to sing the narrator for a lousy book, but really!
This whole book could be boiled down to:
1. OMG head-over-heels & quickie Vegas wedding.
2. Female lead promptly loses a brother to violence & shuts out her "husband & dom" because "her family, her problem".
3. Almost one year later story picks up & most contrived drama ensues about communication mixup & how using a private detective to track down missing/disappeared sub/wife refusing to talk to dom/husband is "intrusive on her independence" - and this is a committed couple, a supposedly experienced dom & his collared submissive - in other words, adults.
4. Yet inner & outer dialog is all middle-school romance, at best.

Absolutely not up to the author's usual standard.
