Love Belvin is a master with her pen period. I can’t get enough of her complicated love stories they are so relatable to me. I laugh I cry and sometimes at the same time. Her books evoke so much emotion.

I originally read this book before reading much of the Love Belvin universe. I didn’t appreciate the layers and backstory enough because I wasn’t familiar with the characters. This book has a ton of crossover with essentially every major character of her previous work. I would recommend reading this after reading her previous work. It is a great story and I love the characters. I love the journey that they’re on and I think the performances were spot on.

I didn’t appreciate this the first time around

While, I enjoyed the story. There were some issues I had in terms of the transition from chapter to chapter or scene to scene. It felt like there were some gaps that needed to be filled and maybe that’s a audio issue but that’s the only issue I have with this story. I don’t believe we needed two novels, but it’s the writers prerogative. A bit long winded.
