I loathe Ramona's voice. it sounds Soo insanely forced. like, really, NO ONE talks like that!!! I was SOO sad when I saw that she was suddenly in this book. UGGGH if I wasn't already so invested in this series, I definitely wouldn't have purchased this one. the story is amazing, like always, and Michael Ferraiuolo slays every single time!!

This story follows mostly Catalina and Heath with the others interwoven.
Heath is enamored with Catalina and doesn’t like to be told no. He's still an arrogant deplorable _ _ _. He's even added Ash to the people he's threatened and manipulating to give hime a percentage of his business. He is still planning to end Damien's life but Damien wants him dead too. Yet he shows a different side of himself to Catalina almost gentle, caring and even loving. What happens when she's forced to betray one or the other? Will she be able to live if she doesn't?

Penelope sure knows how to draw you into all the suspense, lust and love in a story.
does not matter how often I read or listen I can feel all the emotions of her characters,year after year it never gets old

The connection between Heath and Catalina!!

I love the suspense but why is there no ending to the character. Next book always brings in two new people???

I love the storyline of this series so very much. However the narration is excruciatingly painful at times especially when the narrators attempt to switch their voices from male to female or vice versa. When they attempt to do that it takes my mind completely off focus and breaks the mood of the scene. Not capable of pulling it off well enough to come across as professional.
