Definitely a shorter story as a stand alone but the couple's history made it feel believable. Plenty of steamy scenes I would have happily read a full novel about them.

Alex and Jenna are secretly in love with each other. But Jenna’s father is a mafia Don and Alex works for him. Jenna has been promised in marriage to Nico Tacone-another mafia king. Luckily for Jenna and Nico neither wants the other. And Nico convinces Jenna’s father that it’s not going to work. So Nico gives Jenna money to disappear and he marries his true love. Jenna takes the money and goes to Ibiza Spain. Alex finds her in Ibiza, takes her virginity but let’s her think he’s a player. It’s only when he has to bring her back home that they realize how much they love each other. It’s a short love story with a predictable HEA. But it’s still a really good story.

At long last the unrequited love/lust is fulfilled for both Alex and Jenna. but not without theatrics, threats, and bargains. Do G was a major d bag, but his egdes were softened by his wife a bit. I like when love finds a way regardless of obstacles and family in the way. This is a great addition to the series. I loved the strength of character of both main characters to go against Don G for their happiness and still live to talk about it . The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

I loved this whole series. I read the books and then listened to the audios. I’m not a fan of “Daddy” stories so this isn’t my favorite but it did give me a little more time in this world. Great characters and great narration.
