Another fun quick listen that was over too quickly. It was so nice revisiting Mylah and Ka'dir's story after reading it years ago. I really like how they first met- her father was a piece of work and I think he got off easy!- and that she didn't shy away from him. I can't remember if we get to learn how Mylah's twin brother is doing after suddenly losing his father (no loss there!) and sister suddenly one night. But he'd inherit everything and I'm actually left curious for his story even though his role in this book was practically none. As a lover of mm romance, I would have loved for him to find his own monster mate- but that's only my wishful thinking lol

Ryan McConnell is another new-to-me narrator (as were the others in this series) and I thought he did a great job bringing these characters to life.

I loved this book. It was a fun, steamy quick read. I loved the previous books in this series and was eager to get my hands on the newest addition. I like the setting of the story. I also loved Mylah and Ka'dir. As an omega, she has suffered abuse and treated lowly; when the chance to finally be free came, she took it. She and Ka'dir had such scorching chemistry, and he finally got the mate he wished for. 5 stars.
