A female mercenary is paid to kidnap a powerful public figure.

It was... entertaining. This is not something I normally listen to, thats why I read it, but it was short and entertaining.

Bible Newcombe has to be one or my favorite VA as their performance was spot in and terribly sexy. Since the story itself was brief, there wasn't enough time to explain a few minor details such as why Sapphire drove a horse drawn carriage in the modern day, details about the mercenary territories, etc but that gets easily lost in the narrative. Overall, I really enjoyed this and would have liked it to be twice as long.

First of all, I absolutely loved the narration of this work. Bibi Newcombe gave each character their own voice and really brought the story to life.

Overall, the plot was good. It was a nice, escapist bit of smut. However, the story could have done with a good edit to remove extra verbiage. Sapphire's motivations were overly described and characters reiterated narration. Had I been reading on my own instead of listening, I might have left the story.
