But loved it. thought cowboys and bikers were my favorites, bratva wasn't even on the radar! I love the accent,maybe that's it! human trafficking is not my thing so that aspect of the story was tough to deal with.I do love obsession so I dig that part of the story. Really glad I knew going in that there's a hea, otherwise it'd been too tough to read.

This is undoubtedly a dark Bratva romance, Nicolai and Marissa have been side by side for years and all it takes is one warning to change it all. I was in the edge of my seat more often then not hearing their story, the length Nicolai will go through to continue to be a protector is incredible. My heart is with Marissa and all she endured for so long and yet she continues to move forward. This story is not for the light reader, we’re taken through dark scenes more often then not. This is a spin-off to the series and can be read as a standalone.

Priceless by Jane Henry is a Dark Bratva Romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. This is the first book in the Ruthless Doms series.

This book does come with a caution “this dark romance contains mild dubious consent, elements of violence, and kinky, sexual scenes. If such subject matters offend you, please do not listen. “

I absolutely love Jane’s books! I loved the taboo forbidden romance between Marissa (18 years old) and her body guard Nicolai (31 years old). I was pulled in from the very first chapter and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next.
I can’t wait to dive into the next book in the series Beyond Measure so I can get Tomas and Caroline’s story.

Kai and Wen did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you like dark romances, Bratva or mafia romances, forbidden romances, or romantic suspense.

I loved this read/listen from the wonderful Jane Henry. I could not put it down. Marissa and Nicolai/Aleks story was so good. There were many twists and turns. I can’t but root for the bravata and the brotherhood. I can’t wait for the next book. Even though they are stand alone it’s great to read them all and you just wait for the next story.
