Love the voice actors for this, especially Hades. Had me curious as soon as I listened to the sample. Really good with headphones by the way. Smoking hot scenes too! I just don’t love that Persephone is a witch in this I know it’s a retelling but I feel like being a witch is kind of a step down from goddess. Also, the plot doesn’t really pick up until the last like 4 or 5 chapters of the book. I had moments where I was thinking where is this going? Not a bad one to tuck under your belt if you like the Hades and Persephone story though.

I really enjoyed this story. I'm an absolute sucker for a Hades and Persephone retelling, and this one was a hit for me. Brandon Bonavir was phenomenal; his voice captured Hades' dark allure with just the right edge of gravitas. I’m already feral with anticipation for his take on Morpheus in book 2. R.L. Hemm also brought a lovely warmth and strength to Persephone's character, and I'm excited to see how she brings Lark to life next!

These two narrators were fantastic! Their acting brought the story to life and the male narrator was incredible! Perfect blend of great plot with spice. A great listen for fans of Greek myth.

Love love LOVE me a good Hades and Persephone retelling! And this one did not disappoint! I’m a little peeved that we don’t have a more precise release date for “Summer Seduction” than just “coming soon” 😆
