This was soo freaking good. I absolutely love this series! Neos voice was spot on!

I said it about the first two books and it's the same for this one as well - William Glynn does such a phenomenal job narrating! All of the characters were easy to follow and every time Neo spoke I got a tingle in my spine and a small smirk on my face - he definitely jumped to the top of top tier MMCs in my book! The laughs, the anger and domination in his voice - we all need more of that 100%

Rated this one 4 stars solely because after the intensity of the first two, I felt like this one was more mellow and didn't pack as much of a punch as the first ones. Don't get me wrong I still absolutely loved the story and enjoyed where their story ended I just wish we had gotten even more unhinged and pitch black!

I really enjoyed seeing their investigation unfold and was surprised to see the outcome! Having them take care of a case dealing with something that hits close to home for Neo and having both him and Lyla serve justice was a very gratifying thing to listen to.
