Solo Narration - 100% have to listen to more of William Glynn he was an amazing serial killer - I will hear the Butcher's laughs in my drea- I mean nightmares...

Lyla gets a new job at Mercy asylum only to fall prey to infamous serial killer Neo Wade - "the Bombshell Butcher" - what follows is a quick paced spicy read and I absolutely need more! It definitely gave Harley Quinn/Joker vibes and I wished Lyla needed a bit more pushing to make that final leap at the end but I always love when the FMC becomes just as unhinged as the MMC!

Also loved the change in the MMC murder MO - they're always going for the rich f*cked up billionaire or the ex-boyfriend of the FMC but it's always men so seeing him going after abusive women was a breath of fresh air - I'm nothing if not a feminist "equal rights" and all that.

Having Nocturnal Ink's special edition of this book to flip through also heightened the experience SO MUCH - the NSFW artwork?! Ruined for all normal editions just like Neo ruined us for other fictional men.
