It got a bit too dark for my tastes there for awhile. Also he needs to go after his Dalits already!

After having listened to 1-8, then moving onto 9-11 I was hoping for closure. Anything. But it was one shiny object after another for this character. To the point I was fairly certain I was going to abandon this . And now having finished it tonight I wish I had. The cliffhanger this series left was brutal. Not a way to end a series that was written 7 years ago. The character was dense and very difficult to want to support or even read about. For this being a fantasy type harem book it had none of that. And it was as if it was an anti-harem book. Since all the chances the main character could have had that only to be dominated by an over controlling wife and fucking over literally every single person he had a connection too. I only hope the author is busy writing the best ending ever possible whenever that happens.
