I know without a doubt when I am in the mood for dark and unhinged lauren is the first author I think of.
this one wasn't any different. the way she finds the tiniest miniscule way to add humanity back into the I humane male leads is an art.

Holy smokes!!!

This novella, especially the narration by Kayden Lukakis & Angelina Rocca. I def had a moment of what am I reading, then along the way my heart broke for Cole. And by the end I just embraced my unhinged self. Absolutely LOVED this one!!!

if you are looking a good quick book i recommend this one. please check tigger warning before reading it does have some tough subjects. i love the book Lauren did a amazing job for this novella you get why he is the way he is and what lead to his life falling apart. even though you are not suppose to fall in love with someone like that your heart doesn't know but wants what it wants

I really liked this one. Duet narration but only from the male POV. I actually wouldn’t have minded if this one was a bit longer. Pulls you in from the start and keeps you intrigued all the way through.

Lauren Biel really did an incredible job making us feel for the villain, even though his actions were so dark. The way she delved into the haze of drugs and how it affects someone’s behavior was both chilling and fascinating. It gave such a raw, honest look at the fight between good and evil.

The entire story is told from his POV, and honestly, I think that made it even more intense and gripping. She didn’t shy away from the horrors of addiction and its control over people, which made it all feel so real and unsettling. But of course, there’s a HEA at the end!

If you like dark, twisted stories that are quick but hit hard, this one’s definitely worth checking out. It’s the perfect read for anyone who enjoys a good, deranged tale.
