I rate this story 3.5 stars. A story of a woman who goes to great lengths to obtain the love of her life. Emerson wants Rio, her brother’s best friend, and Rio is trying to be a good best friend by leaving his friend’s younger sister alone. Emerson goes after what she wants and finds something about herself that she didn’t know about. I like the way the story weaves her desire for Rio in one look that takes him completely. A HEA.

The narration was good but could have used a bit more inflections during the sex scenes. It’s always hard for a woman to do a man’s voice and in this case, it showed. I still loved the premise of the story.
