Super hot and spicy book with a few Jae dropping moments! This book was amazing I loved it from start to finish. Catches your attention in chapter one and holds onto it till very last word of book!

Second generation here we go! With the originals' hard work and sacrifice, the Territories have been at peace. Their children have grown up without the violence and turmoil, although they have been trained and educated. Ruby had always been the "good girl", doing what was expected and being who she thought she was supposed to be, as heir. However, one day she cracked and cheated on her boyfriend because she couldnt handleitand wanted to feel free/something. She told the BF it wasn't working and they agreed he could stay until he found another place. A stalker witnessed the cheating and started playing games with her, which she loved. If you're a fan of stalker, OTT possessive, play with her and I may allow it OR I may kill you, primal/chase play..this one is for you.

I pre-ordered this entire series as soon as I heard about it but hadn't started reading it until now.

In this new take on the "Little Red Riding Hood" story, we follow a mafia princess named Ruby, who acquires a stalker who kills those who touch what's his. As she participates in the Black Rose Auction to gain more information about him, she finds that she may have bitten off more than she could chew.

I hate that our FMC was such a spoiled fucking brat. There, I said it. I know that's part of the clencher for this particular book so I'm not taking as much away here as I normally would. I just didn't like Ruby very much.

I loved Casimir but, then again, I'm into morally black MMCs so there's that. lol I enjoyed my read-through of this book a little too much just for my glimpses into his psyche. That's just me, though. I tend to look a little too deeply into things in this area.

I was so shocked by the reveal of who Casimir/Luke really is and feel like I should have seen this shit coming from a mile away. That's just me, though. I don't know how to read between the lines and tend to not be observant when I need to be.

I was so glad we got the epilogue we did as well. I ended up pouting when I realized that we were done with the book and laughed when I realized that I was pouting. I pout quite a bit when I finish books but I've always been a brat like that.

Yes, I'd recommend this book if you want decent, quality smut. Yes, there's quite a bit of smut in this book but that's normal for Katee Robert books. I knew what I was walking into when I picked this book up. lol
