I enjoyed this short novella. I remember this came out shortly after the Maid and The Orcs. I really didn’t like how the FMC was treated in that story. This was a real palette cleanser. Both the MMC’s treated the FMC with love and expressed it. Nothing they ALL wouldn’t do for each other’s pleasure,love and comfort.

I enjoyed the story of these people finding each other and bonding together. There was more to their relationship than just sex. And clearly a lot more to orc society and culture, that the other books in the series probably get into.

Only slightly Yule-themed. While the days depicted were on and around Yule, the story would have been fine without the Yule tie-in. But it was good as it was.

The narrator was EXCELLENT.
