Alana is a Royal Air Force Veteran of sixteen years whose time came to a sudden end with a Medical Discharge in 2021. Passionate about her time in the military she was unsure what path to venture down next. Whilst she took a mainstream position, her love with reading was reignited whilst her husband was deployed. Diving into the realm of forbidden dark romance she found her imagination would run wild with where each plot was heading. With ideas and scenarios bursting in her mind she decided to write her own to make them come alive. Writing dark romance is what she loves most. Her stories don’t shy away from difficult truths, exploring themes many would rather avoid, including crime, murder, trauma, mental health, and both psychological and physical abuse. Her female characters are strong and resilient, reclaiming, or already knowing their worth, even when they don’t recognise it yet. Her male characters are morally grey, blending danger with passion and devotion. The kind of men who would burn the world down for the one they love. She's drawn to romances where love isn’t clean or easy, but earned, transformative, and deeply emotional. Influenced by gritty, character-driven storytelling and the sharp edge of Guy Ritchie, her writing weaves together darkness, loyalty, violence, vulnerability, and love. She write for readers who crave intensity and depth, and who believe that even after the worst, it’s possible to rise and choose yourself. When she's not writing, you'll find her walking her dog in the woods while plotting the next story. She's a self-care advocate and tries to stay healthy at the gym, but still enjoys a glass of wine and a good old natter with friends.
