I was born and raised in Cache Valley, Utah. A beautiful valley tucked between the mountains at the northern tip of the state. Though I have traveled, I have never lived anywhere but here. This little town means a great deal to me, and I am wrapped up in the fabric of it as though I built it with my own two hands. Having always been enchanted by the elegance and emotion of the Victorian era, especially in England where my grandparents and mother hail from, it was only natural for me to write period romance novels that blend richly detailed settings, strong yet vulnerable heroines, and love stories that are inspired by true events or true feelings. Every word put to paper is directly piped from my heart and soul. With all my writing I have used it as a form of expression, for release, and to generally make myself truly understood. I have been eternally grateful for this gift and for far too long I have hoarded it. Its liberating and thrilling to finally throw myself out there, no matter the outcome, and know my words are there in the universal. In this way, I can be immortal. Be it to the few or the many. This is my legacy. Along with being a writer I am also a wife and mother. My husband and my son are my world and to have them along for this journey is another blessing that has been bestowed upon me. We also have in our family, two little fur baby cats, Beeber and Frankie. I hope that you come along with me as I traverse my literary path. There is a great many works to look forward to beyond this first book, The Stanford Sisters: Rebecca's Story. There are more installments of these beautiful sisters are in the works, and I hope that each one portrays the special meaning each inspired.
