Born and raised in Rishikesh, India, Anand Mehrotra was mentored by his Guru from childhood. He went on to teach students from across the world and developed Sattva Yoga, a method through which people of all backgrounds, cultures and experiences can discover and embrace their own true nature. He then established the leading yoga teacher training school, Sattva Yoga Academy, and created Sattva Connect, an online platform for teachings and classes. In addition to being a Master teacher, Anand set up the charitable initiatives: Kushi Foundation and Sattva Foundation. He has been featured in several documentaries including award-winning The Highest Pass and continues to lead transformational motorcycle journeys into the Himalayas. Liberation is his second book.
