Anita Bartholomew, the author of the new book, Sacrificial Lambs: A Liberal Reporter Exposes How the Progressive Left Harms Children in the Name of Gender Ideology, is a former longtime contributing editor and contributor to both the US and international editions of Reader’s Digest, where she covered topics spanning health, science, social issues, and politics. She is also the author of Siege: An American Tragedy, a detailed account of the storming of the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, and the co-author of the critically acclaimed award-winning medical memoir: Something to Prove: A Daughter’s Journey to Fulfill a Father’s Legacy. In connection with her reporting, she’s appeared as a guest on TV news, true crime, and talk shows. Two of her long-form narratives have been adapted for TV films. She lives in Oregon.
