Ari François Lucas, nom de plume, speaks fluently French, English and Spanish. His opening work is Rouge, Orange, Bleu, Blanc, which he has translated to English (Red, Orange, Blue, Black) and Spanish (Rojo, Ocaso, Bígaro, Blanco). His second book is The Vine from the Rainbow (The Vine from the rainbow / La Viña del arcoíris), the first volume of the Rainbow series. The second book of the Rainbow poetry series, The Tenril from the vine, will be available starting 2 April 2026. He grew up in Dallas-Fort-Worth, Texas, is Jewish and Gay, and each of these elements flourishes and is expressed in his novel, his poems and his other compositions.
