Dr Arun Dhir is a Gastrointestinal surgeon, university lecturer and the author of ‘Happy Gut, Healthy Weight’ and ‘Creating a New You, and several smaller e books. He is an engaging speaker and a thought leader in the area of Mind Body connection, Weight management and Gut health. His latest book Your Mess Has a Message is a labour of his love for life and was borne of a humbling and devastating life event. He writes from his heart – with authenticity and integrity and from a platform of practical wisdom. As a surgeon it may appear that he deals with only the physical aspect of health, however being a Yoga and Meditation teacher, allows him to have a deeper appreciation of the mind body connection and how we can manifest our own healing. In 2020,he commenced his Radical Wellness 101 programme to bring an integrated approach to health and wellbeing that allows us to create our healing with an evidence based approach.He helps his clients by creating customised meditations for them. Dr Arun is a father to two beautiful kids, loves reading books, hiking, cycling and playing tennis besides running a busy surgical practice in Melbourne, Australia. His life vision is to set up ‘The Heal Centre’ – an institution that serves as a platform to empower individuals to approach health and well-being from the level of healing the Mind, the Body and the Soul.
