Barb Clark is the Founder and CEO of FASD Mosaic, where she provides coaching, training, and consulting on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), trauma, neurodivergence, and challenging behaviors. She also serves as the head coach for the international FASD Caregiver Kickstart program. With honesty, humor, and a wealth of real-life experience, Barb transforms parenting challenges into opportunities for growth—helping caregivers and professionals embrace more compassionate, brain-based strategies that truly work. A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Youth Development, Barb credits her greatest lessons to what she’s learned from her own children. As a parent of children with prenatal exposure to alcohol, drugs, and early trauma, she brings deep, firsthand understanding to her work. Her passion for supporting adoptive, foster, and kinship families shines through in every presentation, guiding parents to adapt flexibly and parent in ways that meet their children’s unique needs. An international trainer and sought-after speaker, Barb has equipped thousands of caregivers, educators, therapists, social workers, medical professionals, and law enforcement personnel with tools to better understand and support individuals affected by prenatal substance exposure. She is especially known for her down-to-earth approach to “the big behaviors”—raging, lying, and stealing—and her ability to turn complex science into practical strategies. Dedicated to changing systems and mindsets, Barb inspires audiences to think differently, act with empathy, and create lasting impact.
