Bethany Meola is the co-founder (with her husband Dr. Daniel Meola) of the national Catholic non-profit apostolate Life-Giving Wounds and is the co-author, with Dan, of "Life-Giving Wounds: A Catholic Guide to Healing for Adult Children of Divorce or Separation" (Ignatius Press, 2023). Bethany holds a master of theological studies degree from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and the Family in Washington, DC, and worked at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for seven years, with the end role of Assistant Director in the Secretariat of Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth. Bethany now delights in being a homeschooling mom to her two girls, Zelie-Louise and Grace, as well as working part-time for Life-Giving Wounds. The Meolas live in Bowie, Maryland.
