From Hardship to Calling Bill’s journey began in hardship. When his father died suddenly, his mother was left to raise six children on welfare. A traveling pastor introduced the family to the Bible, changing their trajectory. From those humble beginnings, Bill developed a passion: to see every family step into God’s intended purpose. Professional Leadership After earning a degree in education and graduating from law school, Bill practiced at a large international firm before founding one of the nation’s leading charitable foundations. There, he helped families create legacy plans that combined generosity, vision, and faith. He has also co-led gatherings of business leaders with David Green and is widely recognized as one of the country’s leading voices on philanthropy and legacy.
