C. B. Lyall is a Book Excellence Award Finalist and globe trotting author of the Virus of Beauty YA fantasy trilogy. She has always been a lover of fantasy stories, from the first time she read fairy tales to sharing her father’s love of David Gemmel’s books. Books filled with witches, wizards, fantastical creatures, exciting adventures, and exotic locations captivate her. She was living in Hong Kong with her husband and three teenage sons when she first started writing the Virus of Beauty series. It seemed natural that Wilf would be a soccer-playing teenager living in Hong Kong. C.B. Lyall now lives in the New York area, and her sons have left home and started families of their own. Her grandson recently wrote a five-star book review of The Virus of Beauty - Book 1 for his school project. It seems the next generation is also developing a love of good YA fantasy stories.
