Christine Rechl, born in Munich in 1963, studied communication design in Augsburg and two semesters of stage and costume design at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. She has published numerous creative books - including the Spiegel bestseller "Lieblingssteine." Since 2006 she lives in Coburg, where she shares her large garden with her husband, her son, her cat and some deer, rabbits and other creatures.
