Cristina García is the author of eight novels, including her most recent, VANISHING MAPS (Knopf, 2023). Others include Dreaming in Cuban, The Agüero Sisters, Monkey Hunting, A Handbook to Luck, The Lady Matador's Hotel, King of Cuba, and Here in Berlin. García has also written books for young readers, a collection of poetry, numerous plays, and edited two Latinx anthologies. Her work has been nominated for a National Book Award and translated into fifteen languages.
