Former advertising executive turned grant writer, my passion for writing that began as a child, spills out into several directions including nonfiction and fiction. Nestled away in upstate New York with my husband and trusty Labrador, I write about things I know, experienced and fantasize about. My first book, a work of nonfiction entitled, Last Dog and All Those Who Came Before, provides a story-like account of our almost 20 years of loving and living with dogs. My first work of fiction, Only In September, is based on a spark of an idea after several visits to Block Island, a tear drop-shaped gem of an island off the New England coast. No surprise, this title and the forthcoming sequel, includes dogs.
