Dawn Rochelle, MSW, LCSW is co-founder of The Confident Company and a seasoned nonprofit executive and leadership consultant. With more than two decades of experience guiding organizations, boards, and leaders, Dawn is passionate about helping people align vision with action. She believes all humans are called to serve, and The Confident Company is her blueprint to help others feel equipped and confident in that calling. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Maxwell Certified Leadership Coach, Dawn combines her background in trauma-informed care with expertise in strategic planning, governance, and fundraising. Her approach is both values-driven and behavior-focused, helping individuals serve through their strengths and unique gifts. Dawn has held executive roles across the nonprofit and civic sectors, with particular strength in board governance and allocation methodologies. As CEO of two large nonprofits, she has led transformative initiatives in child advocacy, mental health access, and early childhood education. This perspective as a chief executive informs her impact as a board member, where she has served as a founder and in board leadership roles. She has also served extensively in Rotary International, including as a District Governor in 2020-21. Dawn is the founding co-chair of the Rotary Action Group for Girls Empowerment, which is a US nonprofit and an international NGO. Through these roles, she has connected communities globally on initiatives for girls’ empowerment, child abuse prevention, and sustainable nonprofit leadership. Dawn currently serves as a CADRE Technical Advisor to The Rotary Foundation in the areas of Peace and Conflict Resolution and Global Health (Maternal and Child Health and Disease Prevention and Treatment). Dawn believes that board service should be impactful, not intimidating, helping boards and executives overcome uncertainty and develop confidence. Through The Confident Company, she equips leaders with the tools to serve boldly and govern wisely—helping organizations not just to survive, but to thrive.
