Wynn Tunnicliffe had been all set for an awkward couple of weeks away on a retreat run by a professor he loathed in the middle of the El Dorado forest. Bags packed along with a healthy dose of cynicism. And then the world changed.

Dave Smith is having a bad day, week, month, maybe even year. Freshly unemployed, facing eviction, and now he's been transported to a fantasy world. A wish come true for many a geek, if only he hadn't died less than a day after he arrived....

Daxas has established his dungeon in the Proving Grounds and incorporated two more into his sphere of influence. But his expansion and rule-breaking doesn't end there....

Daxas has survived his first few weeks as a Dungeon. He has successfully discovered several exploits in the system and has been thriving. He is advancing to the second rank, fought off an invasion of orcs and goblins, and, most importantly, now has a lovely wood elf companion....

Torin has seen off several threats against him and his burgeoning faction the Shattered Storm. However, time is ticking down on the primary quest from his patron, the Shattered Goddess.

Daxas has reached rank eight. He has conquered and subsumed a second dungeon increasing his power and pulled one over the Divine Lords in the process. However, he is aware this will bring new difficulties to his door and the Divine Lords are unlikely to take their humiliation well....

Torin has achieved a great deal and built his personal strength and that of his faction, the Shattered Storm, to heights few on Earth can match.

Torin has been victorious against his self-proclaimed arch-enemy Luca Gattosi. The Brotherhood of the Lion's Claw has fallen. All of their territory had been absorbed into the Shattered Storm's growing empire. This has not come without a cost.

Jezebel and the elf guilds have been defeated. The elven goddess now resides in the Wolf King's lair, along with Daxas and the others. However, her attempts to destroy Daxas' dungeon and steal all the soul energy he had collected over time has not been without consequence.

Daxas' trials continue. He has defeated those with the temerity to face him and claimed the dark elf Dungeon Mistress Jen'Zadeer Shadestar for his own. His guild, the Dark Moon Rising, continues to flourish despite its figurehead Chief Simeon Reedwhistle's reservations....

There are others in the Proving Grounds, like the Silver Lady, Jezebel. She had her own plans, which don't align with Daxas'. Not to mention that the threat from without is undiminished. Timian, and others, are still gunning hard for Daxas. They want what he has....
