Donna Bulseco is the editor-in-chief of Intima: A Journal of Narrative Medicine and a longtime journalist, editor and educator. She holds graduate degrees in English literature from Brown University and narrative medicine from Columbia University. Her writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Self, InStyle, the Purist, W and Women's Wear Daily. Bulseco grew up in Los Angeles but has lived in New York City since the end of the Seventies with her husband, music producer and saxophonist Dana Vlcek. The first place she visited en route to Manhattan was Passaic Falls to pay homage to William Carlos Williams' epic poem "Paterson."
