Edward Gerald Woodward, MD, PhD, FACOG, is a retired obstetrician–gynecologist with 45 years of clinical experience. Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and trained in biochemistry at the doctoral level, he brings a science-grounded, patient-centered perspective to complex and often misunderstood conditions, including Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Now in retirement, Dr. Woodward devotes his time to writing and encouraging others in their pursuit of better health. He is married, has two sons, two daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren.
