Ellie Tru is a high school language arts teacher in rural Missouri. She received her Master of Arts in Education from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. She has poetry published in Five:2:One Magazine, Missouri's Best Emerging Poets, and Windfall Literary Magazine. This is her debut novel. When not educating the youths or escaping into fantasy worlds of her own making, Ellie is playing D&D, kayaking with friends, trying our new cozy games on her Switch, or attempting to keep her two cats from causing a global calamity.
