Emma Goude is international award winning documentary filmmaker, writer and mental health campaigner, emerging from behind the camera to tell her own story. She has written 'My Beautiful Psychosis', to change the perception of psychosis as a debilitating illness. She hopes that sharing her story will inspire others, improve attitudes and ultimately contribute to a better system of care. After ten years working as a shiatsu therapist, Emma came to appreciate her experiences in a new light. She is now part of an international movement for change in the mental health service, promoting Open Dialogue, which is increasingly being endorsed by mainstream therapists and healthcare professionals. Following her passion for dancing tango, Emma lived in Buenos Aires for four years, which inspired her next book 'Tango, Camino, Romeo', a pilgrimage to find love through the intimacy of Argentine tango. She is currently looking for an agent and/or publisher.
