I’m Mauricio Ochoa Saldarriaga. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by horses. Over time, I realized they were not only part of my life, but also part of what I wanted to leave to the world. I studied graphic design, and I’ve always had a strong connection with art — I love painting, observing, and understanding details. That sensitivity helped me see horse training from a different perspective: not as a technique, but as a form of communication and balance. Over the years, I developed the Three Quarters Method, a way of working based on the code “Yes rest / No stress”, where the horse’s trust and learning are built through coherence, not force. Today, my purpose is to share what I’ve learned — and to keep learning from every horse, every person, and every story. Because to me, training is not about domination — it’s about understanding.
