I’m J.D. Harbor, a romance novelist and travel advisor inspired by love stories set on the open sea. A former military photojournalist, I discovered my writing voice capturing real-life moments and now craft contemporary romances filled with connection, adventure, and self-discovery aboard cruise ships. My RomantiSea Serenades series launched with Emerald Tide and Sapphire Seas, companion novels that follow two souls brought together by fate on a voyage. While their romance spans both books, each explores one character’s personal journey. The series has since expanded with the novella Amplified Pyrite, and continues with Scarlet Wave and Golden Shores. Inspired by my own experience of meeting my love on a cruise, these stories celebrate the magic of love unfolding when least expected. Originally from Utah, I now live in Central Florida with my wife and two children, always planning our next adventure at sea.
