Jack MacTavish is an American novelist, adventurer, and storyteller whose tales connect the worlds of history, espionage, and coastal adventure. A retired U.S. Army Officer who also worked with the intelligence community, Jack served for years as a medical officer in airborne, aviation, and special operations units. MacTavish draws on decades of real-world experience to craft adventure stories that combine authenticity, humor, romance, and classic intrigue.   His novel Royal Diamonds features reluctant heroes, hidden histories, and the uncharted waters between honor and obsession. Set anywhere from Charleston to the Caribbean, his stories are rich with salt air, rum, and danger, inspired by the same spirit that drives his own adventures on land and sea.   Beyond writing, Jack MacTavish is the founder of Southern Duck Trading Company, a veteran-owned lifestyle brand celebrating the Southern and coastal outdoors, and Muddy Creek Consulting. He shares glimpses of this world on @JackMacTavishAdventures, where literature, leadership, and adventure come together. When not writing, Jack practices emergency medicine, chases after his grandsons, and spends as much time as possible with a guitar or a fishing rod in his hands.   MacTavish’s mission is simple: telling stories worth living-and living a life worth telling about.
