Jake is the prolific author of over three dozen novels, screenplays, comics, and short stories. Currently he's working on the Aegis-Verse saga--A 50 book culmination of seven series ending in an epic final crossover. His love of sci-fi, fantasy, & horror began at 8yrs old with the childrens series (K.A. Applegate's) Animorphs & (R.L. Stine's) Goosebumps, which heavily influenced his imagination. His first step was joyfully adding to the end of some of these in the blank pages after. Since, his passion has been fueled by (horror & RPG) video games, TTRPGs (D&D, Call of Cthulhu, +), and superhero movies/shows (MCU & DCU). When not authoring the Aegis-Verse he works as a Certified Book Coach for The Write Practice, and runs a writing group, the Fateless Bards. His truest passion is helping others--his pen name representing overcoming the strife along the way.
