Jane Beacon worked in television for over 25 years, most recently in commissioning. Before that, she was an Executive Producer and worked in entertainment, live programming and news. She spent four years making crime documentaries, gaining practical knowledge of how cases are investigated. During lockdown she decided to change careers and pursue her love of cooking, becoming a chef – a role that sits alongside her passion for writing. She grew up in Yorkshire and now lives in East London with her two children.
