Dr. Jesse V. McClain IV, DNP, APRN, ACNS-BC, FWS, CMC is a distinguished Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and award-winning author based in Youngstown, Ohio. With over 20 years of experience in adult neurology, with subspecialties in Multiple Sclerosis and Stroke. Dr. McClain earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and has been involved in numerous clinical trials focusing on neurological care. Beyond his medical career, Dr. McClain is a certified French Wine Scholar and Certified Master of Champagne. He is also the founder of Vanny’s Vineyards in Ohio. His passion for viticulture led him to author The Wine Doctor, which was awarded the 2023 Nonfiction-Education Book of the Year. He is also released The Corked Incident, a fictional murder-mystery involving the worlds of neurology and wine with the Screenplay adaptation winning Best One-Location Script at Cannes in 2025. Death in Destin, the sequel to The Corked Incident is scheduled for release in 2026.
