Joe Chianakas is a multi-time teacher-of-the-year winner. Inspiring students is his top passion. He's written multiple bestsellers and loves to entertain in various genres. Joe is the winner of the 2025 River City Arts and Entertainment Award! The award recognizes artists whose work uplifts and supports diversity in the arts and has made a meaningful impact on the LGBTQ+ community. His novel, Pride and Persistence (book two in the Unveiling Aiden Series), was a finalist for the 2025 best young adult book-of-the-year at the Imaginarium Awards. His most recent novel, Darkness Calls, is a finalist for the 2026 best horror book-of-the-year with Imaginarium! Joe is a professor who teaches classes in communication and writing. He's making his national television debut in 2026 with a feature interview on season eleven of The Whitney Reynolds Show, a nationally-syndicated, Emmy-nominated program devoted to inspiring others. When he's not teaching or writing, he's probably walking or playing with Bailey, his mini-Australian Shepherd and the best dog in the world. Chianakas is currently represented by Amy Brewer of Metamorphosis Literary Agency and has multiple publishing contracts with Roan and Weatherford.
