John Howard spends a lot of time thinking. Perhaps, he thinks, too much time thinking. His long-suffering partner often asks, “What are you doing?” to which, after some thought, he usually replies, “I’m thinking.” John has given this much thought and concluded that if he weren’t thinking, he’d probably be doing, and as long as some thinking preceded the doing, then doing would most likely be better than just thinking. Unless, of course, all he ended up doing was thinking about thinking. For a long time, that’s exactly what happened. But then, one idea refused to stay put, and what began as a conversation over dinner turned into three years of doing, which eventually became John's first novel, 'The Cosmic Knot Paradox'. Having proved, at least once, that thinking can lead somewhere, John thought about things for a while, then followed it up with 'Poetic Justice: The Life and Crimes of Donald J Trump', where the thinking is sharper and the doing a little more pointed. John writes about big ideas, uncomfortable truths, and that strange space where humour, philosophy and reality overlap. Sometimes that becomes speculative fiction. Sometimes it comes out as satire with its teeth showing. He is, at the time of writing, thinking again. So, follow John, in case this latest round of thinking also turns into more doing.
