Jon VanZile is an author, editor, and publisher. He began his career covering local politics for daily newspapers, then moved into publishing and editing. Since then, he has ghostwritten more than two dozen books, edited hundreds of titles for both self-published authors and traditional publishers, and is the author of four books. His debut nonfiction, Houseplants for a Healthy Home, was published by Simon & Schuster and became an Amazon best-seller. Houseplants for a Healthy Home has been featured in national media including O Magazine, Redbook, and many other outlets. His debut novel, Billionaire: A Time Travel Mystery, is a middle grade adventure published by Dragon Tree Books, a self-publishing company he owns that has published the works of more than 100 authors. Jon is also an avid gardener who has written extensively about horticulture and cultivation for national outlets, including iVillage and About.com (now The Spruce), as well as media including the Chicago Tribune and Better Homes & Gardens Special Interest Publications. He lives in Fort Lauderdale.
