June Daguiso, the dynamic Founder and CEO behind MJD Productions, WMIFF, and Hollywood in Washington, DC Talk show. With an illustrious career spanning over 18 years in the entertainment industry, June is a true pioneer and visionary. In 2006, June embarked on his journey by founding MJD Productions, igniting a passion for storytelling that would soon captivate audiences worldwide. His debut film, "Full Circle," made waves in the industry, earning Grammy nominations for Best Song of the Year for TV & Visual Media and Best Compilation Album in TV & Visual Media, in collaboration with the talented Frank Cisco Anderson. This early success set the stage for June's subsequent triumphs, including another Grammy nomination in 2009 for his film "Collide ." But June's talents extend far beyond the silver screen. A martial artist of exceptional skill, he competed in the National Circuit under the North American Karate Association, achieving impressive rankings in both fighting and form. His dedication to martial arts led him to share his knowledge as a Tae Kwon Do instructor in the DC-Maryland & Virginia area until he retired from teaching in 2000. In addition to his achievements in entertainment and martial arts, June enjoyed a distinguished 38-year career in the legal field before retiring in 2017. Yet, his passion for storytelling never waned. To date, June has produced over 50 films, leaving an indelible mark as a writer, producer, director, and actor. June's latest masterpiece, "Saving Ana," has captured the hearts of audiences and critics alike, earning nominations for this year's Oscars in multiple categories, including Best Feature Film, Best Actor, and Best Original Song. Undeterred by success, June is currently at the helm of several exciting projects, including four feature films, a TV series, and the reality TV sensation "Filipina Housewives of DMV," which he co-produces alongside Imelda Antoc Bosley and Maribeth Murray Nicholas. But June's talents don't stop there. He is also a published author, with his tenth book Saving Ana, The Road to Absolution, Trinity, Collide, Diary of a Serial Killer, Embrace of Mateo's Blood, Split Personality, Forever Young, Dream Chaser: The Story of the Martinez Family, and The Colorful Life of Savonna Champ set to be released soon. With each new endeavor, June continues to push the boundaries of creativity, inspiring audiences worldwide with his compelling narratives and unwavering dedication to his craft.
