Katie Beecher, MS, LPC is a medical and emotional intuitive and Licensed Professional Counselor featured by numerous media outlets including Poosh, Miranda Kerr’s Kora Organics and Goop who called her “eerily accurate”. In 1983, Katie was a severely depressed sixteen year old, riddled with anxiety and suicidal. After four years of trying to fight her eating disorder, she had decided that she couldn’t go on. Binging and purging three times a day, abusing laxatives and diuretics and living in a dysfunctional family had taken its toll. Rather than taking her life, in the Spring of that year, what Katie describes as “divine intervention” occurred. She came home from school one day and without telling anyone, called her family pediatrician and asked for the name of a therapist.
