Matthew "Link Tipton Born in Morocco and raised in small-town Hugo, Oklahoma, Matthew “Link” Tipton grew up skateboarding, playing soccer, making music, and going to church. After forming early bands and chasing gigs, he sold his guitar for gas money and moved to Tulsa, where music became his calling. Touring with the Christian rock band Pillar taught him the grind and heart of life on the road. With his wife Marie’s encouragement, he moved to Nashville, wrote songs with Pillar, and brushed shoulders with legends from Everclear to Peter Frampton. When touring couldn’t sustain their family, Link and Marie launched Blue Nova Designs in 2007—turning, faith, and hustle into a scenic design company serving artists like John Mayer, Dolly Parton, and Metallica. From humble beginnings to national stages, Link’s journey is a story of faith, grit, and God’s perfect timing.
