Marilyn Benner Sowyak is one of the entertainment industry's top medical consultants. Benner was the Medical Technical Advisor for Law & Order and was the Medical Coordinator for over twenty-one major feature films, including: Godfather III, The Fisher King, Bonfire of the Vanities, and Home Alone – Lost In New York. "I've become a master at creating medical stories and bringing them to life on the screen," Benner says. She is also the creator of Maggie Lee Bennett Creations, a publishing house of over 250 coloring and educational books. She is a retired Registered Nurse who has worked in the Emergency Departments of New York City's Bellevue Hospital, Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York Hospital Cornell, Saint Vincent's Hospital, Orlando Regional Medical Center, and Carolinas Medical Center Main in Charlotte, North Carolina.
